Lithology Comments

Apr 03, 2014 (D Draper) - Main showing (Claim 29333) consists of a 4 - 5 ft wide silicified shear zone (or quartz vein) bearing massive sulphides, which was exposed by trenching for a length of 75ft. This mineralized zone strikes 250 ºdips 80 º.

Mineralization Comments

Apr 03, 2014 (D Draper) - Quartz veins mineralized with chalcopyrite, arsenopyrite and galena occur in silicified and locally pyritized metagreywacke. (MP 10, p.57) Claim 29333 trench: 1938 sample from test-pit on 4ft wide vein returned $6.65 Au and 1.07 oz/tAg (1938 gold @ $35.20, so assay approx imately 0.19 oz/t Au ). A 1948 channel sample of the pit 600ft to the west (Clm 27887) assayed 0.22 oz/t Au over 2.4ft. Clm 28991: A 1-foot channel sample of a stringer in porphyry returned 2.65 oz/t Au.

Jan 19, 2024 (Sheree Hinz) - Sampling done in 2017 by JayCubed Explorations returned four samples with gold values exceeding 1 ppm, the highest gold value obtained being 1.83 ppm (sample TR-9). Two of the gold samples also contain silver, returning assays of 15.3 ppm and 10.4 ppm Ag. Galena occurs as coarse grains in quartz and was determined by the EDS (energy-dispersive spectrometer) system to occur as inclusions within grains of arsenopyrite. The highest lead values were 4650 ppm and 2360 ppm Pb. Although sphalerite was occasionally observed in rock samples. The highest zinc values obtained were 787 ppm and 2500 ppm Zn (20000017019).
