Geological Age: Late Precambrian Geochronological Age: 1072 MA Geochron. Age Ref.: OGS MP 93, P.22
Dec 07, 2005 (D Draper) - Syenitic rocks of Clay-Howells alkalic complex appear to intrude a sequence of paragneisses and orthogneisses that have been regionally metamorphosed to upper amphibolite to granulite facies rank...characteristic of the Kapuskasing Subprovince. The complex is fresh and unmetamorphosed. (Study 37, p. 3 and 8).
