NTS Grid: 42H12SW

Point Location Description: Collar of drillhole ELO-H-08-7, per log UTM coordinates

Location Method: Based on Assessment

Access Description: The Hurdman Property is located approximately 120 kilometers north of the city of Timmins, in northeastern Ontario. The Property is accessible by travelling westward along Trans Canada Highway no. 11 from Smooth Rock Falls for a distance of 12 km then northward along a winter logging road for an additional 28 km. The first 20 km of the logging road would be useable year round by ATV but the last 8 km are strictly winter road, although skidder access should be possible in the summer. Geology

Province: Superior

Subprovince: Quetico

Geological Age: Neoarchean

Geology Comments

Feb 05, 2016 (D Draper) - The property is located at the eastern end of the structurally complex boundary between the Wawa subprovince and the metasedimentary-migmatitic Quetico subprovince. The area is also at the junction of the Kapuskasing NNE trending structural zone. Quetico metasedimentary rocks are migmatitic and have granulite facies assemblages. The available information for Hurdman Township indicates that much of the area is underlain by gneisses of sedimentary or volcanic-tuffaceous origin. Geological interpretation is hampered by the ubiquitous overburden cover, a general lack of previous work, and the very high degree of regional metamorphism. These limiting factors have completely destroyed the primary structures making units identification and stratigraphic correlations very difficult.

Lithology Comments

Jan 18, 2011 (D Draper) - Mattagami's holes returned values primarily from units of pegmatite within and/or adjacent to quartz-feldspar-biotite schists. Eloro's holes intersected semi-massive to massive sulphide zones interbedded with units of pegmatite and gneiss.

Mineralization Comments

Jan 18, 2011 (D Draper) - Mattagami's initial drilling returned Zn values from 4 of the 5 holes drilled. Best results: H-1380-13 - 7.8% Zn, 56.23 gpt Ag and 2.4 gpt Au; H-1381-25 - 2.12% Zn, 1.89% Pb, 225.23 gpt Ag and, 0.69 gpt Au. (T-1972; see also Timmins Drill Core Library files TI1598 and TI1609) Eloro's follow-up drilling in 2008 (holes ELO-H-08-06, -07, -08, -09, -10) intersected two zones of polymetallic massive sulphides separated by alteration zones. These continuous, shallowly north-dipping, mineralized zones consist of massive and semi-massive sulphides with up to 12% disseminated sphalerite and 2-3% gahnite and are up to 3m thick. Best overall assay results were obtained from ELO-H-08-07, collared 100m N of H-1380-13 and 300m NW of H-1381-25. These consisted of: 1.43% Zn, 1.18% Pb, 266 gpt Ag, and 0.74 gpt Au. Hole ELO-H-08-10, collared 15m N of -07, assayed 7.49% Zn and 9900 ppm Pb. (T-5895)
