Lithology Comments

Mar 20, 2014 (D Draper) - The Campbell Lake drillhole cut 700ft of overburden overlying Paleozoic formations. A 24 foot zone containing gypsum was then encountered between 703 and 740 feet. Sections of this zone were missing (24% core loss in this portion of the hole) giving only intermittent intersections with gypsum, the best being 12 feet long. Below this zone, the hole intersected 112 feet of Kwataboahegan Fm. limestone and dolomite, then 118 feet of Stooping River Fm. (limestone, dolomite). Hole bottomed at 1129 feet in Precambrian granite.

Mineralization Comments

Dec 07, 2005 (D Draper) - Gypsum: 2 zones intersected, totalling 25 ft. Upper zone (4ft wide) was vitreous, light grey to pale amber gypsum, described in one log as [Q] very pure (AF T-301); lower zone white to pink, to pale amber and grey.
