Mineralization Comments

Dec 17, 2020 (Therese Pettigrew) - Trenching was done on a sheared tuffaceous zone about 13 feet wide that strikes N80W. The shear zone is mineralized with pyrite, arsenopyrite, pyrrhotite, chalcopyrite, sphalerite, galena, and a little supergene chalcocite. Gangue minerals include quartz, albite, sphene, white mica, carbonate, chlorite, biotite and tourmaline. Gold is reported to have been obtained from this showing (Moorhouse, 1955). No assays have been reported.
