Mineralization Comments

Aug 16, 2018 (Therese Pettigrew) - A stockwork of quartz stringers 30 feet wide occurs in mafic metavolcanics. The stringers strike in an E-W direction and dip 45 degrees N. Traces of chalcopyrite and arsenopyrite are present in the quartz. V.K. Prest collected a sample of sulphide-bearing quartz chips that returned an assay of 0.02 opt Au (Prest, 1942).
