Aug 07, 2012 (A Wilson) - A grab sample collected by Bordun Mining Corporation assayed 0.05% Cu and 0.05% Ni. In 1966 and 1967, a total of 7191 ft. of exploratory diamond drilling was performed on the property from eleven vertical holes. Holes 4, 5, 6, and 8 intersected a copper-nickel sulphide zone in claim TB. 116201 with minimum dimensions 1,014 ft. long in direction east northeast with an average depth of 294 ft. and unknown width. Within this zone is a more concentrated area of copper-nickel sulphides measuring 704 ft. long, averaging 34 ft. in depth and unknown width. From numerous assay values, the zone averages 0.429% copper and 0.224% nickel per ton. The best assay returns for copper and nickel respectively are as follows: hole 12A : 520-525 ft. Cu 0.54%, Ni 0.25%; hole 13 360-370 ft., Cu, 0.33% Ni, 0.16%; 410-450 ft., 0.40% Cu, 0.17% Ni; 530-540 ft., 0.26% Cu 0.13% Ni; hole 14, 565-575 ft., 0.36% Cu, 0.17% Cu.
Mar 01, 2018 (Therese Pettigrew) - Kennecott’s 2007 drillhole DDH 07AR0001 intersected 22.6 m grading 0.48% Cu and 0.21% Ni from 16.4 m depth. The disseminated mineralization occurs as 1-4% combined pyrrhotite/chalcopyrite, with highest grade over 0.4 m with ~6% interstitial pyrrhotite/chalcopyrite mineralization. DDH 07AR0002 intersected 32.85 m grading 0.27% Cu and 0.12% Ni, from 5.8 m depth. Mineralization occurs as 2% disseminated pyrrhotite/chalcopyrite (AFRI 20000003761).
