Location Method: Conversion from MDI

Access Description: Proceed west on Hwy 11-17 to Hwy 588. Turn left on Hwy 588 and follow it south to Nolalu. Turn left over the bridge, just past the general store, and proceed along this road for 2.8 km. turn right on the secondary gravel road and follow for 1.3 km to the west side of a field (south of the road), with an old farm house on it. Leave vehicle here and follow the trail on the west side of the field for 280 m south to a clearing on the west side. Follow a trail that leads off at approx. 200 degrees. The trail immediately goes over a hill into an east-west valley (Silver Valley) and then follows up the ridge on the south side of the valley and turns west. Follow the trail along the south bank of the valley to the adit.



Exploration History

1885: vein was discovered. 1886: a 14 m shaft was sunk and a 5.5 m adit completed.
