Exploration History

1947: 15 mining claims were staked by J. F. West under Katherine S. West on the north shore of Middle Shebandawon Lake, Hagey Twp. 1948-49: Geological mapping, stripping, trenching and 7 diamond drill holes were completed (185 m). 1950: J.F. West conducted a spontaneous polarization survey, indicating 10 anomalies. 1949-52: 25 diamond drill holes totalling 843 m were drilled. 1980: Greenwich Lake Exploration optioned the J. F. West property as well as staking an additional 12 mining claims subject to the terms of the Frank West Option. Greenwich also staked 8 mining claims not subject to the Frank West Option. 1981-82: Induced Polarization-Resistivity survey, totalling 20 line km was conducted, 5 diamond drill holes totalling 599 m were completed by March 1982. 1991 - D & E Christianson entered into an agreement with Frank West about the property. Sampling and trenching of 5 areas east of the Frank West Porphyry were completed as well as limited prospecting and geological mapping. 1992 - Calvert and Christianson carried out a 6 DDH program totalling 517 m to investigate the JF West deposit. Doug Parker and Barbara D’Silva purchased the patented claims, prospected and carried out geological mapping and geochemical surveys. They had all recent and historical DDH on the Frank West Porphyry surveyed to document locations and elevations. 1993 - Parker and D’Silva completed limited trenching and sampling of geochemical and geophysical anomalies identified during previous programs. 1994 - Detector Resources Ltd. completed 6 DDH totalling 1,408 m. They also sent 106 samples of earlier drill core for assaying to help guide the 1994 drill program, which focussed on evaluating the down-dip and along-strike extensions of the fractured/brecciated porphyry and altered volcanics near the porphyry contact. 2008 - Golden Share conducted a 6-hole DDH program totalling 447.5 m on the JF West Deposit and Contact Zone, took 16 grab samples from the Calchris occurrence, the JF West deposit and then Contact Zone. 2009 - 1 DDH totalling 90 m was drilled on the JF West area. 2010: Golden Share released a resource estimate on the JF West Zone. 2011: Golden Share drilled 15 DDH totalling 3075 m on the JF West zone extension and Band Ore Main. 2012: Golden Share completed final property payments and all work commitments to earn 100% interest in the property.

Notes: Deformation zone 10-50 m wide, located at the contact between a feldspar porphyry and a mafic volcanic unit and characterized by intense quartz veining and breccia zones. At least seven subparallel zones exist with three zones hosted in a feldspar porphyry, three within the underlying mafic volcanics and one in a second feldspar porphyry north of the first. The JF West deposit has been defined by 47 DDH over a 1,250 m strike length to a vertical depth of approximately 150 m.
