Mineralization Comments

Sep 27, 2016 (Andrew Tims) - Two east-trending mineralized zones in heavily altered rocks (Cullen, 2009) and confirmed the presence of a gold-mineralized deformation zone containing quartz veins up to 1 metre thick associated with quartz stringers in altered intermediate volcanics (ankerite-chlorite-hematite-feldspar-pyrite bearing unit), ultramafic volcanics (chlorite-talc-ankerite schist), and felsic intrusives (fuchsite-ankerite-feldspar-pyrite bearing unit). The entire observed width of the altered package is 30 m. The package is flanked on both ends by a mafic volcanic/sedimentary unit containing heavy to semi-massive sulphides and graphitic pods with associated ankerite. The best gold value came from the quartz vein in thesouth sector of the stripped area, which returned an assay of 5.23 g/t Au over 1 m
