Geology Comments

Aug 18, 2016 (Andrew Tims) - The old ,Quartzite mine, a long known gold prospect consisting of auriferous, siliceous, pyritic schist which isexposed on the shores of Gold Creek very complex due to episodes of fracturing, brecciation, veining, and redeposition of breccia as well as several stages of volcanism and magmatic intrusion, all of which occurred before the superposition of a strong, penetrative, steeply plunging, stretching lineation and minor late tectonic adjustments. The original lithology was a pyroclastic or volcaniclastic unit. The most intensely sericitized rocks in this zone occur as septa of lineated sericite schist within and surrounding fractured tourmaline-quartz alteration zones.

Mineralization Comments

Aug 18, 2016 (Andrew Tims) - A base metal bearing quartz vein reported values up to 35.65 g/t Au (1.04 oz/t) and 295 g/t Ag (8.6 oz/t). The vein, which is described in the section on mineralization, was intersected at a depth of 18 meters below surface, but contained only 0.77 g/t Au over l meter.
