Sep 25, 2018 (Therese Pettigrew) - A small amount of chalcopyrite was found by F.R. Harris 3353 m (11,000 ft) WNW of the junction of Tilly Creek and the Obadinaw River. Chalcopyrite, pyrite, and malachite are in a sheared, medium-grained quartz diorite, 61 m north of the contact between the metasediments and diorite. The sheared mineralized zone trends N50E is 15.25 m wide and was traced for 45.7 m along strike. The most highly mineralized part contains an estimated 3% pyrite and 1% chalcopyrite, which are disseminated through the rock. The copper content was estimated to be less than 0.2% in most of the zone (Harris, 1970). DDH NT90-01 assayed 0.2% Cu over 9 m. DDH NT90-02 assayed up to 0.5 gpt Au, and 1.75% Cu over 1 m. DDH NT90-03 assayed 0.22% Cu over 33 m including 0.35% Cu over 18 m. DDH NT90-04 assayed up to 0.37 gpt Au (AFRI 52B10SW0005). Grab samples assayed up to 13.3 gpt Au and 4.2% Cu (AFRI 52B10SW0003). DDH ER21-09 intersected coarse-grained diorite at the start of the hole. This unit is visibly mineralized with pyrite, chalcopyrite and pyrrhotite. Minor carbonate veinlets and hematite alteration are present. Quartz veins with chlorite, pyr and magnetite are hosted in this unit. The best Cu intercept was 2.08% Cu over 1.85 m core length. Other intervals are 0.95% Cu over 0.7 m core length and 0.46% Cu over 4.79 m. DDH ER21-10 returned 1.99% Cu and 1.24 g/t Au over 0.8 m (Assessment report 20000020611). DDH ER21-02 returned 0.17% Cu, 21.2 g/t Au, and 173 g/t Ag over 1 m from 35.35 m depth, and 0.74% Cu, 0.143 g/t Au, and 10.1 g/t Ag over 1.84 m from 61.25 m depth (Assessment report 20000021011). Sample 181195 collected in 2021 returned 4.11 g/t Au, 48.6 g/t Ag, and 3.44% Cu from a massive sulphide in a diorite. Sample 181153 returned 1.17 g/t Au, 57.4 g/t Ag, and 6.55% Cu from quartz-chalcopyrite blebs (Assessment report 20000020427).
