1967-68: trenching, channel sampling and EM survey. 1972: 62 m of DD in one hole. Trenching and sampling. 1979-80: 2006 m of DD in 16 holes. 1986: 1710 m of DD in 7 holes.

Mineralization Comments

Dec 07, 2005 (R Tuomi) - Host rocks are an intercalated sequence of mafic and felsic metavolcanic rocks and mafic clastic units. Mineralization is primarily sph, po, cpy and py. Mineralization has been traced by diamond drilling for over 1 200 m long and 50 m wide.


Jul 29, 2022 (Q Unknown) - 1967-68: Grab samples returned 2.35% Cu and 0.67% Zn. Channel samples assayed 0.075% and 0.125% Cu. 1978-80: Best results from diamond drilling yielded: 1.5% Zn, 0.2% Cu over 7 m and 1.1% Zn and 0.09% Cu over 8.6 m. 1986: Best assays from drilling returned 1.12% Zn. Zone is 1300m by 46 m by 10 m. Estimated reserve is 1.79 Mt of 1.5% Zn and 0.2% Cu.

Dec 07, 2005 (R Tuomi) - Chloritization is the predominant alteration type.
