Exploration History

1955-56: geological and geophysical surveys. 1963: 319 m of DD in 3 holes. 1966-67: geophysical surveys. 622 m of DD in 5 holes. Grab samples assayed 16.1% Zn, 0.65% Cu and 6.6% Pb. Mineralization inlcuded sph, ga and cpy. 1980: trenching and stripping. 1983: geological, geophysical and geochemical surveys. Grab samples assayed 7.63% Zn, 0.3% Cu and 2.89% Pb. 1985-86: geological and geophysical surveys. The property is underlain by felsic metavolcanic rocks with lesser mafic metavolcanic rocks, metasedimentary rocks and some mafic intrusives.
