Sep 15, 2020 (Therese Pettigrew) - DDH DH-1-84 returned up to 1.851 ppm over 2 feet from intermediate to felsic metavolcanics with bands of chlorite, biotite, and sulphides up to 20%; 2.572 ppm Au over 1 foot from sulphide iron formation with pyrite, pyrrhotite, chalcopyrite, and possible magnetite; and 1.886 ppm Au over 1 feet and 3.841 ppm Au over 1 foot from sulphide iron formation with up to 35% pyrite, pyrrhotite, and chalcopyrite. DDH BL2-84 returned 4070 ppm Zn over 1.5 feet and 2110 ppm Zn over 4.5 feet from an intermediate metavolcanics with blue quartz eyes and sphalerite in narrow stringers with minor pyrite. DDH 4 returned up to 1300 ppm Zn over 5 feet. (Assessment report 52C16SE0005). DDH TT-13-005 returned 1.99 g/t Au over 12.7 m including up to 11.4 g/t Au over 1 m from a quartz vein containing sphalerite, galena, pyrite, and chalcopyrite in a greywacke (Assessment report 20000008971). Sample 1293 returned 19.957 gpt Au (Assessment report 20000007049). In 1996, prospectors stripped a quartz vein on what they called the E Zone. Sample B8 returned 121 ppm Au and 5430 ppm Zn (Assessment report 52C16SW0012). Samples taken by Fire River Gold returned 1.27% Zn and 2324 ppm Pb from a quartz vein with sphalerite and pyrite in a quartz-eye rhyolite (Assessment report 52C16SW8245).
