Geology Comments

Dec 07, 2005 (P Hinz) - The occurrence is related to a large ovoid geophysical anomaly identifed in 1997 by Minescape Expl. This is in an area previously mapped as granite. Re-mapping by Stone (1997) identified large masses of anorthosite and mafic intrusive rocks such as gabbro and pyroxenite.
