Location Method: Conversion from MDI

Access Description: The bog occupies the north quarter of section 24 and the south half of section 25, Shenston township. The bog is reached by proceeding west for 0.25 miles along the road 4 miles north of Barwick.



Exploration History

This peat bog was documented in a 1965 GSC publication. There are no assessment reports on file.




Lithology Comments

Dec 19, 2019 (Therese Pettigrew) - There is a 6 foot cover of fairly uniform quality, light brown, light in weight, and only slightly humified (Graham and Tibbetts, 1965).
