Mineralization Comments

Nov 08, 2022 (Therese Pettigrew) - Mineralization is contained in a shear zone exposed fro 130 feet which strikes N45E and Deips 75SE. Shear zone is in Early Precambrian mafic metavolcanics. Networks of pyrite, chalcopyrite and pyrrhotite are associated with lenses and veinlets of quartz and dolomite. Malachite and other secondary copper minerals are abundant. The riches section is lenticular and not over 5 feet wide (SMDR 00540).


Nov 08, 2022 (Q Unknown) - A grab sample assayed by the O.D.M. in 1930 returned 12.66% Cu. Mineralization in the 1958 drill program included pyrite, chalcopyrite and pyrrhotite.
