1889-90: O. Dunais sunk 3 small shafts (30, 48, and 57 feet deep) on the Three Ladies Mine. 1935: J. Errington and C.W. Greenland optioned the property. 1935-36: trenching and diamond drilling. 1936: Kenricia Gold Mines was incorporated to finance underground development. A three compartment vertical shaft was sunk to a depth of 210 feet with a station cut at the 200 foot level. Operations continued until December 3, 1937, when they were shut down. At that time, the shaft was 383 feet deep with stations at the 200 and 350 foot levels. 1938: 100 tpd cyanide mill. 1939: underground operations resumed. 1940: shaft to 162 m. Underground development totalled 5736.5 feet of diamond drilling, 5373 feet of drifting, and 1444 feet of cross-cutting. Milling operations continued until May 31, 1940. 1974: Aumac Explorations Ltd. acquired the property. and carried out magnetometer and EM surveys. 1983: Atikwa Resources Inc. carried out geological mapping.

Nov 28, 2022 (Therese Pettigrew) - The country rock on the property is largely agglomerate. An occasional basaltic lava flow is interbanded with it. The agglomerate has undergone a moderate amount of schisting and is intruded by massive quartz porphyry dykes. In places, the porphyry contains quartz veinlets and some pyrite mineralization. There are 4 gold-bearing quartz veins on the property, all striking in a general east-west direction (Thomson, 1936).

Nov 28, 2022 (Therese Pettigrew) - In 1935-36, major emphasis was placed on vein no. 3 which was said to be 750 feet in length, 27-30 inches in width, and averaging $25 per ton (0.71 oz/t Au). Field observations in 1983 by Atikwa Resources staff observed that all veins were found to consist of sugary quartz with black tourmaline. Some mineralization in the form of pyrite and chalcopyrite were observed in the quartz (Assessment report 52E10NE8994). There are three generations of quartz in the veins. Gold values are associated with the second stage of veining, with quartz, tourmaline, and associated sulphides (Thomson, 1936).
