Mineralization Comments

Nov 28, 2022 (Therese Pettigrew) - Surface prospecting revealed a few veins, one of which was found to carry gold values over a length of 400 feet. This lies near the southeastern corner of Inglis Lake on claim K 5849. The vein is narrow, averaging less than a foot in width (Thompson, 1936). The Williams Vein is located in the eastern part of claim 697447 near the southeastern corner of Inglis Lake. This vein consists of a narrow quartz vein which strikes north 80 degrees east and is vertical or steeply dipping either to the northwest or southeast. The vein was stripped continuously for 335 feet, with width ranging from 1 to 38 inches and averaging 8 inches. The quartz itself is a white, sugary to vitreous type, containing a large amount of tourmaline. Mineralization consists of pyrite, galena, chalcopyrite, and some small particles of visible gold. Samples taken in 1936 returned values of $0.35 over 8" (0.012 oz/t Au over 20 cm) up to $13.30 over 36" (0.44 oz/t Au over 91 cm)and $14.00 over 6" (0.47 opt Au over 15 cm) (Assessment report 52E10NE8994).

Jul 26, 2022 (Q Unknown) - Grade: 0.14 opt Au over 22 cm and 0.22 opt Au over 80 cm.
