Exploration History

1968: Olympia Mines Inc. conducted EM and mag surveys. 1985-86: Mr. Pogson carried out trenching and sampling. 1987: Bond Canada optioned the property from Mr. Pogson and Mr. Currie, and carried out humus and rock geochemical surveys, trenching, as well as a VLF-EM geophysical survey. 1988: Bond Gold drilled 3 DDH totalling 338 m. 2010: S. Siemieniuk carried out prospecting and sampling.

Mineralization Comments

May 14, 2020 (Therese Pettigrew) - Samples collected by S. Siemieniuk in this area returned assays up to 0.356 ppm (Assessment report 20000006151). Samples collected by Bond Canada in 1987 returned assays of up to 2.627 ppm Au, 46 ppm Ag, and 615 ppm As from a pit on the east to 0.51 oz/t Au and 19.4 ppm Ag in Sample 11540 and 7.758 ppm Au and 10.3 ppm Ag from sample 7558 in a pit 100 m to the west (Assessment report 52E10NW9478).
