May 15, 2020 (Therese Pettigrew) - Historic claim S 120 was located on the east side of the entrance to Helldiver Bay. A property visit by OBM staff in 1911 with the prospector found gold when panning from 3 veins (Parsons, 1911). Minor pyrite, carbonate and quartz were observed by Davies (1978). Samples taken by Eclipse in 1984 returned values ranging from 0.005 to 0.03 g/t Au (0.17 to 1.02 g/t Au) (Assessment report 52E10SW8556).
