Exploration History

Pre-1984: unknown individuals carried out pitting and sunk several shafts. 1984-85: Golden Rule carried out mapping, sampling, and magnetic and VLF-EM surveys. 1987: Golden Rule Resources Ltd. carried out sampling and drilled 5 DDH totalling 492 m. 1988: Golden Rule drilled 2 DDH totalling 309.4 m.

Mineralization Comments

May 15, 2020 (Therese Pettigrew) - DDH GR-ONT-5 returned 0.031 oz/t Au over 0.7 ft (1.06 g/t Au over 0.12 m) from a chlorite vein containing 5-10% fine grained pyrite. Grab samples from the Shaft H area returned 7.1 g/t Au and Shaft about 120 m to the east returned 6.0 g/t Au (Assessment report 52E10SW8516). Samples collected by S. Siemeniuk in 2010 400 m to the west returned 8.273 and 8.358 g/t Au (Assessment report 20000006151).
