Nov 04, 2022 (Therese Pettigrew) - Pyrite, chalcopyrite, sphalerite, pyrrhotite and galena are found in a sheared Early Precambrian basalt and are associated with the most highly sheared portion (SMDR 00524). The main shear zone is east-west striking. Width of best mineralization is 4 feet. Grab samples returned up to 3% Zn, 1% Cu, 0.25% Co, 0.08 oz/t Au, and 3 oz/t Ag (Davies, 1965).
