Point Location Description: The Redditt quarry is located approx 10 km SW of the Forgotten Lake quarry and 3 km W of Redditt.
Location Method: Conversion from MDI
Nelson Granite initiated production from this quarry in 2010 and holds an aggregate permit for 20,000 t production a year.
Oct 13, 2022 (C Ravnaas) - The stone from the quarry is white feldspar-megacrystic granite and marketed as “Bimini” (C. Spence, Nelson Granite Ltd., personal communication, 2013).
