Aug 02, 2022 (Q Unknown) - Grade: 373,500 tons @ approx. 40% S. Several lenticular masses of almost solid sulphides are found on Furlonge Lake near a stock of granite porphyry. These pyritic replacement masses in the greenstones, sometimes showing pyrrhotite, are the predominant massive sulphide body-types occurring in this area. 4 lenses of pyrite and pyrrhotite mineralization, 'Lens 1', being 118 feet by 30 feet by 500 feet, was the largest. The total estimated "ore in sight" was 313,500 tons. Deducting 25% for loss in cobbing would leave 280,156 tons. 'Lens 2' averaged 41.62% S; 'lens 4', 40.68% S and 'lens 6', 31.63% S. No gold was reported in association with the lens mineralization (Historical Files, 52F/03 SW00005, EMR#508937 (1974), Kenora Resident Geologist Office)
