Oct 27, 2017 (C Ravnaas) - Size: gold-bearing horizon traced for 1981 m with average thickness 30.5 m.
Oct 27, 2017 (Therese Pettigrew) - Estimated reserves in a zone 300 ft by 24 ft by 100 ft = 120,000 tons at 0.25 opt Au. At surface: No. 1 Zone is 900 ft by 17 ft at 0.2 opt Au. No. 2 Zone is 300 ft by 24 ft at 0.25 opt Au. Gold with sulphides near contact with a quartz porphyry dyke (Beard and Garratt, 1976). Neilson and Bray (1981) describe the showing as a mineralized shear zone in a sericite schist. Grab samples collected returned assays of 0.04 and 0.34 opt Au (Neilson and Bray, 1981). DDH LK-91-01 assayed 638 ppb Au from 361.5-362.5’ (AFRI 53F04NW0118). DDH MC 75-4 assayed 0.21 opt from 231-236’ (AFRI 53F04NW0134). Barrier’s DDH-4 assayed 2414 ppb over 14’ (AFRI 52F04NE0031).
