Geology Comments

Feb 16, 2011 (J Bongfelt) - 'The intrusive complex at Denmark Lake consists of peridotite, pyroxenite gabbro, diorite, quartz diorite, granodiorite and amphibolite, with enclosed remnants of metavolcanic rocks. Each rock type is compositionally and texturally variable and is intimately associated with other rock types. The oldest rocks of the complex appear to be ultramafic, with gabbro, diorite, quartz diorite, and granodiorite being successively younger.' (Kenora AF 52F/05NE, KK-6, Canadian Arrow Mines Ltd. - Geo Report - Geology)

Mineralization Comments

Feb 16, 2011 (J Bongfelt) - Sample: 01-ERD-142A - Denmark/Rupert Intrusion, serpentinite grab sample: 1505 ppm Ni (OFR 6102 - pg. 137) 'From the OGS map P3594 a nickel-copper showing was found on a small island located in the Denmark Lake south east of Caribou Lodge Showing. No more information for this occurrence was found in the OGS files.' (Kenora AF 52F/05NE, KK-6, Canadian Arrow Mines Ltd. - Geo Report - Previous Work)
