Sep 28, 2017 (C Ravnaas) - Best assay: 0.036 opt Au over 80 inches in DDH AC86-3.
Sep 28, 2017 (Therese Pettigrew) - Samples collected on the Breccia Zone during 1984 returned values of up to 0.046 opt Au (1.445 gpt Au). The Breccia Zone is very similar in appearance, mineralogy, and geological setting to the Cameron Lake and Monte Cristo deposits. The central core of the zones consist of a quartz-carbonate breccia, quartz stockwork or quartz veins, with accessory minerals sericite, pyrite, minor chalcopyrite, and a green mica. This is surrounded by a zone of bleached and weakly altered and sheared rock which grades back into the host rock. The altered zone range from a few feet to tens of feet in width, with the central quartz-rich zone developed erratically within the altered zone; the central zone ranges from absent to 15-20 feet in width. The continuity on strike appears to be on the order of a few hundred feet, but definition of this dimension is generally made difficult due to the lake and poor outcrop on land (AFRI 52F05SE0062).
