Mineralization Comments

Aug 31, 2017 (Therese Pettigrew) - In a letter to G.L. Holbrook by J.A. McClasky (April 23, 1944, both of Sylvanite Gold Mines Limited), McClasky mentioned that Mr. Logie told him that he (Logie) assayed some samples which ran as high as 0.77 ounces gold per ton, but that his average was around 0.20 to 0.23 ounces of gold per ton. McClasky mentioned that Mr. Logie "had totally lost all of his papers with assay results mentioned heretofore" (Davies and Morin, 1976). There is a shear zone 250 by 450 ft traced by stripping and trenching (Beard and Garratt, 1976).
