Lithology Comments

Aug 31, 2017 (Therese Pettigrew) - A narrow alteration zone of varying width consists of silicified mafic metavolcanics with fuchsite, chlorite and epidote locally. The zone occurs in fine-grained mafic metavolcanics and to the north of a 10-15 foot wide feldspar porphyry dyke trending 075 degrees azimuth. The zone subparallels the dyke approaching it to the west (AFRI 52F05SW0059).

Mineralization Comments

Aug 31, 2017 (Therese Pettigrew) - Reported assays were generally trace to 0.01 opt Au (0.3 gpt Au) with occasional assays of 0.02 to 0.04 opt Au (0.6 to 1.2 gpt Au). Sample 597 from hole J86-3 returned an assay of 2.68 opt Au (83.3 gpt Au) from 367.5-368.5 feet. Visible gold was reported for this sample (AFRI 52F05SW0049). Trench 4 is the westernmost auriferous structure (AFRI 52F05SW0059).
