Mineralization Comments

Sep 15, 2017 (C Ravnaas) - Best assay: 0.15 opt Au (4.67 g/t Au) over 120 cm in Hole 9 (Gulf).

Sep 15, 2017 (Therese Pettigrew) - The 1985 drill program returned assays up to 1.20 g/t Au over 0.8 m and 6.795 g/t Au over 0.76 m (AFRI 2.57095). The best assays obtained on surface during the 1988-89 trenching program was at the East Zone and ran 2.22 opt Au from a 1 ft width in a rusty shear and 0.25 opt Au over a 6 ft width. Trenching on the East Zone exposed mineralization 2 ft thick over a strike of 170 ft, which grades 0.984 opt Au. Trenching on the West Zone exposed a 30 ft section of altered rocks which grade up to 0.649 opt Au over 3.0 ft. The Knapp showing has a cleared surface exposure of 60 m. Chlorite, silica alteration within the mafics is limited to the zone of shearing and also contains 1 to locally 12% pyrite. The felsic dyke displays strong sericite/silica alteration, intense fracturing and 3-8% pyrite. Ten grab samples taken by Cunniah Lake Inc. returned values of 0.608 to 94.56 gpt Au (AFRI 52F05SE2006).
