Exploration History

1954: Staked by Falconbridge Nickel Mines Ltd. 1955: Falconbridge conducted an aeromagnetic survey. 1956: 14 drill holes totalling 6415 feet, aeromagnetic, aeroelectromagnetic and aeroradiometric surveys, ground magnetic, ground electromagnetic and geological surveys by Falconbridge Nickel Mines Ltd.

Lithology Comments

Feb 15, 2011 (J Bongfelt) - Greywacke, rhyolite, and andesite were the principal rock types intersected by the drilling, with pyrrhotite in narrow slaty beds, associated with both greywacke and massive rhyolite.
