Access Description: Access via Goldlund road, approx. 16.8 miles north of Dinorwic, NW off Hwy 72.
1946: small amounts of dd by J.P.Arnott. 1950-52: Conecho Mines Ltd. carried out trenching, 2,659 ft dd in 28 holes; ~257 ft of drifting, 468 ft crosscutting from the 200 ft level of the Goldlund (Newlund) Prospect. 1984: Camreco Inc. carried out diamond drilling. 1991: Noranda Exploration Company Ltd. conducted IP and resistivity surveys. 2017: First Mining Finance Corp. drilled 100 DDH totalling 24,299 m, including several holes on this occurrence.

Jun 29, 2020 (Therese Pettigrew) - Intermediate to mafic metavolcanics have been intruded by granodiorite dyke dipping 75 degrees SE. Coarse visible gold and associated pyrite occur in quartz-filled fractures on either side of the dyke, but assay results are not available (Ferguson et al., 1971). DDH GL-17-02 returned 1.39 g/t Au over 20 m, including 7.51 g/t Au over 2 m. DDH GL-17-094 returned 3.36 g/t Au over 2 m. DDH GL-17-095 returned 1.85 g/t Au over 2 m. DDH GL-17-084 retuned 3.91 g/t Au over 34 m, including 41.93 g/t Au over 2 m. DDH GL-17-105 returned 1.90 g/t Au over 10 m, including 9.14 g/t Au over 2 m (Assessment report 20000015783).
