Access Description: Via Kathlyn Lake Rd, ~1km northwest of Hwy 72 junction. Claims are approx. 1/2 km north of road.
1941: Discovery, trenching. 1942: dd, 8300 ft. 1945: dd, 28,634 ft in 77 holes. 1946: Stripping, trenching. 1947: Mosher Long Lac Gold Mines Ltd. conducted a mag survey. 1951: Lun-Echo Gold Mines Ltd. drilled 9 ddh totalling 8337 ft.

Dec 07, 2005 (D Farrow) - Regional geology is east-northeasterly trending intermediate to basic metavolcanics to the north and metasediments to the south. the contact zone is marked by the presence of acid tuff and agglomerate. Intruding the greenstone are stocks and dykes of quartz feldspar porphyry and granodiorite. Gold deposits occur as quartz-filled fracture zones in the smaller granodiorite and porphyry masses, and in associated pyrite mineralization.
