Geology Comments

Dec 07, 2005 (D Farrow) - Regional geology is east-northeasterly trending intermediate to basic metavolcanics to the north and metasediments to the south. the contact zone is marked by the presence of acid tuff and agglomerate. Intruding the greenstone are stocks and dykes of quartz feldspar porphyry and granodiorite. Gold deposits occur as quartz-filled fracture zones in the smaller granodiorite and porphyry masses, and in associated pyrite mineralization.
