Mineralization Comments

Jun 29, 2020 (Therese Pettigrew) - The area on either side of the iron formation consists mainly of massive to bedded felsic tuffs with sparse mineralization except for narrow seams of pyrite. The iron formation is stained with hematite due to oxidation of magnetite. No free gold was found when sludge was panned, and scheelite was not found when using a UV light. In the core, mineralization consisted mainly of sparse pyrite with occasional flecks of chalcopyrite. The best assay returned from the drill program was 0.04 g/t Au (1.37 g/t Au) (Assessment Report 52F16NW0027). Chip samples collected in 1983 returned up to 1.54 oz/t Au and 4.84 oz/ t Ag (Assessment report 52F16NW0033). Samples collected from the Wilkinson Trench in 1997 only returned up to 17 ppb Au (Assessment report 52F16NE0007).
