Dec 07, 2005 (R Tuomi) - Two shallow trenches follow a 080 degrees trend of shearing which dips 84 degrees to the north. The two trenches, approximately 18m apart, are in sheared metabasalt cut by granodiorite dikes near a contact with massive, medium grained granodiorite. The dikes trend 034 degrees and dip 84 degrees to the northwest. The trenches, which average 1m in width and 2 to 5 m in length, contain narrow shears with pink calcite in a silicified zone. 2 to 3 percent pyrite is present near the trench margins.

Feb 12, 2020 (R Tuomi) - Earlier sampling of grab samples from trench #3 gave assays of 0.141, 0.227 and 0.337 ounce gold per ton from a quartz-carbonate breccia. The most recent sampling was of the two southerm trenches, #1 and #2. Trench #1 assayed less than 0.01ounce gold per tonne. Trench #2 assayed 0.05 ounce gold per tonne. Only two trenches of the three mentioned in the reference were sampled and assayed during a visit to the site in 1992.
Feb 12, 2020 (Therese Pettigrew) - Sample 354967 returned 3474 ppb Au from a fine-grained volcanic with quartz-carbonate veins containing blebby pyrite (Assessment report 20000000260). Sample 902565 returned 2796 ppb Au from an altered granitic dyke with 3-4% sulphides (Assessment report 52G15NW2004).
