Exploration History

1966: showing discovered by J. Gareau working for Steep Rock Iron Mines Ltd. 1967: Steep Rock conducted prospecting, trenching, mapping, soil and rock sampling, EM, IP, and magnetometer surveys, and drilled 18 DDH totalling 659.9 m.

Feb 11, 2020 (Therese Pettigrew) - DDH BB-1 assayed up to 0.85% Cu and 0.40% MoS2. DDH BB-2 assayed up to 0.58% Cu and 0.047% MoS2.DDH BB-4 assayed up to 0.26% Cu and 0.077% MoS2 (Assessment report 20000005248). DDH BB-6 returned up to 0.28% Cu and 0.016% MoS2. DDH BB-11 returned up to 0.40% Cu and 0.025% MoS2. DDH BB-12 returned up to 1.34% Cu. DDH BB-14 returned up to 0.37% Cu and 0.017% MoS2. DDH BB-15 returned up to 0.51% Cu and 0.004% MoS2 (Assessment report 52G14SE0019).
