Lithology Comments

Sep 30, 2019 (Therese Pettigrew) - Meridan Mining and Exploration described the geology of the property as follows: “This property was acquired by the Company as a silver prospect and contains steeply dipping volcanic formations with associated sediments which have been transected by a 100 foot wide diabase dyke. The claim group contains a highly carbonatized alteration zone 1000 feet in diameter straddling the dike from which silver values have been obtained” (Assessment report 52H09NE8104).

Mineralization Comments

Sep 30, 2019 (Therese Pettigrew) - Samples collected in 1971 returned values up to 54.9 oz/t Ag from felsic to intermediate metavolcanics dipping steeply and striking approximately N70E Mineralisation disseminated m small streaks, composed of pyrite with minor sphalerite, galena, polybasite, freibergite with possibly other silver minerals, small amounts of chalcopyrite are also present (Assessment report 52H09NE0022). Grab sampling in 1997 reported pyrite, pyrrhotite, and chalcopyrite mineralization, with a couple of gold assays in the 1-2 g/t Au (Assessment report 52H09NE2001). Sample 10359, collected in 2008 by Kodiak and located at Zone 16, 424538 m E, 55000527 m N, returned an assay of 22.4 ppm Ag and 10 ppb Au from a quartz vein with chlorite and hemaitite (Assessment report 20000003055). Sample S collected in 1991 returned 342 ppm Ag and 2860 ppm Zn. Sample U returned 665 ppm Ag and 728 ppm Zn (Assessment report 42E13SW0016).
