Mineralization Comments

Apr 10, 2019 (Therese Pettigrew) - The mineralization consists of massive to disseminated pyrrhotite and pyrite associated with mafic metavolcanic rocks. Minor chalcopyrite is reported in a diamond drill log submitted for assessment. A grab sample of sulphide mineralized amphibolite collected OGS staff member R. Sutcliffe 150 m southeast of the main trench (sample 1044) yielded: 0.01 oz/ton Au, 0.13 oz/ton Ag, 430 ppm Cu, and 46 ppm Zn (Sutcliffe, 1988). Work done by a joint venture between CanPac, Tombill, and Gunnex collected samples in 1971 from their property about 950 m to the east of the Lun Echo trench, and returned results up to 0.21% cu and 0.71% Ni (Assessment report 52I10SW0014).
