Mineralization Comments

Aug 27, 2018 (R Tuomi) - 1946: surface chip samples average assay 0.32 opt Au.

Aug 27, 2018 (Therese Pettigrew) - The showing is described as two quartz veins with free gold (Ferguson et al., 1971). A 1960 DDH assayed 1.5 opt Au over 2.0 m, with visible gold reported. Samples collected by N.W.T. Copper in 2006 assayed from 0.23 gpt Au to 7.95 gpt Au and up to 2.42% Cu. The samples were collected from a quartz carbonate zone with carbonate alteration and chalcopyrite. Two veins were located, 2-3 m wide and separated by 4 m. The host rock is described as silicified mafic with stringer veins and irregularly shaped granite (AFRI 20000002088).
