Mineralization Comments

Aug 27, 2018 (Therese Pettigrew) - The occurrence is characterized by highly foliated and altered felsic fragmentals intruded by a series of 2-5cm wide bull quartz-carbonate veins. The quartz-carbonate veins are aligned with the foliations. The felsic fragmentals are cream yellow in colour and display moderate gossan. Mineralization is characterized by 3-5% blebby and disseminated pyrite and minor chalcopyrite within the veins and <1% disseminated pyrite in the host rock. Three grab samples were obtained from the quartz veins at this occurrence and returned 19543 ppb, 12661 ppb, and 117 ppb Au (AFRI 52J04NE2001).
