Circa 1957: McCombe Mining and Exploration Ltd. carried out trenching, sampling, prospecting. 1959: McCombe flew an aeromag survey. 1968: Canadian Nickel Co. Ltd. drilled 2 DDH totalling 117 m.

Nov 21, 2014 (A Wilson) - Grab samples collected from the trenches in 1965 returned assays of 0.04, 0.12 and 0.03 oz/t Ag; 0.05, 0.85, 0.05, 0.03% Cu; 2.54% Zn; 0.41, 0.02 % molybdenum; trace Co.


Apr 29, 2020 (Therese Pettigrew) - The mineralized zone has been exposed in trenches to about 150 feet (45.7 m) in width, with pyrite, massive pyrrhotite, some magnetite, and molybdenite (Hudec, 1965).
