Geology Comments

Aug 27, 2007 (Mark Puumala) - Blackburn et al. (1999) report that the Capital Lithium Mines occurrences are based on reported diamond drill intersections of white, muscovite-bearing pegmatites containing abundant tourmaline during a 1957 exploration program. The ¿34 claim group¿ occurrence is based on reports of beryl crystals (up to 3 mm) in two diamond drill holes, while the ¿5 claim group¿ occurrence is based on reports of spodumene in a single drill hole. Reconnaisance sampling of surface exposures of a number of pegmatites in the area of the Capital Lithium Mines occurrences that was reported by Hinz et al. (1999) did not report any significant assay results.
