Geology Comments

Aug 27, 2007 (Mark Puumala) - Bruce (1922) reported a silver assay of 2.08 oz/ton from a chip sample collected across a series of quartx veins located on the northwest side of Lake St. Joseph Island 34. The combined width of the veins was reported to be approximately 1.2 m over a total zone width of 6.1 m. Mapping by Clifford (1969) suggests that this occurrence is located near a northwest-striking metasedimentary-metavolcanic rock contact.
