Dec 07, 2005 (K R Kettles) - The country rocks to the Madsen no. 3 quartz vein are carbonatized mafic metavolcanics. The geology is probably very similar to that of the No. 7 or No. 1 veins. The quartz vein strikes 60 degs and dips at 70 degs to the SE. It ranges from .15 m to 0.50 m wide, and is traced over 45.75 m along strike.

---|---|---|---|---|
Mafic lava flow-unsubdivided | 2 | Carbonatized | Flows | Adjacent |
Dec 07, 2005 (K R Kettles) - The mafic metavolcanics adjacent to the vein have been carbonatized and depleted in sodium. The wallrocks contain anomalous amounts of Au, As, and Sb.

Dec 07, 2005 (K R Kettles) - The gold and pyrite occur in a quartz vein striking 60 degs and dipping 70 degs to the SE. The No. 3 vein has been traced for a length of 45.75 m and ranges in width from 0.15 m to 0.50 m. Pyrite is disseminated in the vein. An average of 16 channel samples taken from the vein yielded 1.06 oz/ton Au over a width of 0.28 m for a length of 45.75 m.
May 06, 2022 (Q Unknown) - Grade 1935 channel samples: Avg. of 16 samples yielded 1.06 opt Au over 0.28 m width for 45.75 m length.
Dec 07, 2005 (K R Kettles) - The wall rocks, mafic metavolcanics, contain anomalous amounts of Au, As, and Sb. They have been carbonatized and depleted in sodium.
