Carricona Gold Mines Ltd. was organized in 1938 to acquire the property. 1938: Surface work. c. 1944: At least 13 drill holes were completed (depths not recorded). 1980: Minorex Ltd. staked a portion of the property. 2019-2021: Pacton Gold completed across the Red Lake Gold Project that includes Faulkenham a high-resolution magnetic, VLF, EM and Lidar survey and soil sampling. Diamond drilling targeting Carricona with holes PAC-19-011 to PAC-19-018A and PAC-20-053 to PAC-21-061.

Dec 07, 2005 (K R Kettles) - The southern and central parts of the property are underlain by mafic to intermediate flows and flow breccias. The northern third of the property is underlain by felsic volcanic rocks. Dikes of diorite, gabbro, quartz and feldspar porphyry and granite have been observed on the property.

Dec 07, 2005 (K R Kettles) - 1944: 0.51 opt Au over 15 cm and vg reported. 1981: 0.08 opt Au, 0.03 opt Au. 1988: pit #6 (Goldbrae): 0.14 and 0.042 opt Au - KRL976355 - 0.2 ppm Ag. The No. 3 showing consists of two quartz stringers in felsic metavolcanics which have been traced for 274.5 m along a contact between felsic volcanics and a feldspar porphyry dike. Visible gold and an assay of 0.51 oz/ton (17.486 g/tonne) Au over 15 cm have been reported. 2020: 17.17 g/t Au over 0.5 m from hole PAC-20-017.
Dec 07, 2005 (K R Kettles) - Epidote has been noted in the quartz stringers.
