In 1936, Doug Ramsey held the property. . In 1959 and 1960, Harry Dowhalk owned the claims. In 1974, Claremont Mines Ltd. purchased the claims from Harry Bregeman and Stanle Mourin. Around 1933, trenching and other surface work was completed. A geological survey was completed in the summer of 1959 and the spring of 1960. Sometime between 1960 and 1974, three trenches were blasted. In 1974, a magnetometer and EM 16 survey and a geological survey were completed, as well as sampling of the old trenches. 1998: Noranda completed geological mapping and lithosampling in conjunction with a second phase of diamond drilling. 8 DDH totalling 2330 m were drilled. 2019-2021: Pacton Gold completed across the Red Lake Gold Project that includes Claremont a high-resolution magnetic, VLF, EM and Lidar survey and soil sampling. At Claremont, Pacton Gold completed outcrop stripping, mapping, grab and channel sampling, over a 60 x 50 m area of bedrock. A total of 32 grab and 99 channel samples were collected.

Nov 07, 2014 (K R Kettles) - The property is underlain by felsic and intermediate volcanic flows and breccias. The volcanic rocks strike 115 deg. to 120 deg. and dip steeply south. Dikes and/or sills of gabbro, quartz porphyry, lamprophyre and pegmatite have also been observed. Several mineralized shear zones hosted by the intermediate volcanic rocks have been discovered on the property. They also strike NW-SE and dip steeply south. The mineralized zones are located within shear zones in volcanic rocks. Sulphide mineralization consists of pyrite, pyrrhotite an chalcopyrite, and in places is quite massive over widths of 4.58 to 6.10 m. A strong conductor with excellent magnetic correlation extends through the central parts claims 37498, 37469 and 37497. Sulphide mineralization is known to exist along this conductor.

Nov 07, 2014 (K R Kettles) - Grab samples have been taken from three trenches on the property and have teturned the following assays. SAMPLE NO. 1 0.005 Au oz/ton, 0.17 Au g/tonne, 0.27 Ag oz/ton, 9.26 Ag g/tone, 2.48 Cu%, 0.22 Ni%. SAMPLE NO. 2 0.005 Au oz/ton, 0.17 Au g/tonne, 0.10 Ag oz/ton, 3.43 Ag g/tone, 0.09 Cu% 0.20 Ni%. , 0.12 Ag oz/ton, 4.11 Ag g/ton, 0.06 Cu%, 0.17 Ni%. Samples collected in 1998 returned, 0.04% Zn, 0.01% Cu over 4.9 m, 0.57% Zn, 0.1 %Cu over 1m, 0.5% Zn, 0.02% Cu, 0.4 g/t Ag over 2.1 m.
May 12, 2023 (Paul Malegus) - Grab sample (# 274763) collected by Pacton Gold at Claremont returned 2.6 g/t Au. Mineralization is hosted in quartz veinlets, silica-sericite alteration and sulphide mineralization.
