Lithology Comments

Mar 09, 2015 (Therese Pettigrew) - The Dixie property is comprised of south-younging amphibolitized mafic flows, andesitic to dacitic flows and pyroclastics, and an upper sequence of chemical metasediments comprising marbles, iron formation and chert. The metasediments appear to be overlain to the south by a later cycle of mafic to felsic metavolcanics.

Mineralization Comments

Mar 09, 2015 (Therese Pettigrew) - Mineralized horizons occur with a highly altered intermediate metavolcanics interbedded with chemical metasediments including iron formation and marble which have been intruded by synvolcanic to younger gabbro, diorite to granodiorite. The Dixie property contains several known areas of mineralization including a mineralized marker horizon, containing copper and zinc values in chalcopyrite and iron-rich sphalerite, respectively, which appears to extend for more than thirty kilometres to the east and northeast. Selco Mining’s 1977 drill program had the following results: Hole 150-18-3 intersected 9.9 ft of sulphides, averaging 0.57% Cu, 2.79% Zn, and 0.50 opt Ag. Hole 150-18-4 intersected 14.1 ft of sulphides, averaging 0.43% Cu, 15.44% Zn, 0.61 opt Ag. Hole 150-18-8 intersected 16.1 ft of sulphides, averaging 0.68% Cu, 10.09% Zn, and 0.53 opt Ag. Hole 150-18-10 intersected 9.1 ft of sulphides, averaging 0.48% Cu, 5.61% Zn and 0.26 opt Ag. Hole 150-18-9 intersected 4.0 ft of massive sulphides, averaging 1.53% Cu, 7.54% Zn and 0.86 opt Ag.

Alteration Comments

Mar 09, 2015 (Therese Pettigrew) - Mineralized metavolcanics typically exhibited chlorite-biotite-garnetanthophyllite footwall alteration.
