Mineralization Comments

04/10/2019 (T Pettigrew) - A sample collected by Noranda in 1989 returned an assay of 6270 ppb Au (Assessment report 52K15NE0014). Sampling by Benton Resources in 2018 returned an assay of 6.17 ppm Au from an arsenic-rich quartz vein within a carbonate shear zone, located 270 m north of the location where the GSC found 107 gold grains in till samples (Benton Resources October 2018 corporate presentation http://www.bentonresources.ca/upload/documents/benton-resources-panama-october.pdf). In 1988, Noranda identified a 20-30 m wide mineralized shear which yielded results of up to 2.8 g/t Au over 4.5 m. DDH PL-19-08 drilled by Benton Resources in 2019 returned results of 0.18 g/t Au over 8.4 m from a silicified arsenopyrite-rich, quartz-flooded zone. DDH PL-19-09 returned 0.425 g/t Au over 2 m from an altered feldspar porphyry with quartz stringers and abundant sulphides (Benton Resources March 27, 2019 press release).
